Surface Preparation Requirements
- Decontamination Phase: Use iron remover and decon soap to eliminate embedded contamination
- Clay Bar Treatment: Remove bonded contaminants using synthetic clay mitt with proper lubrication
- Panel Prep Application: Apply twice if no polishing step was performed to ensure oil-free surface
- Optimal Conditions: Apply in shaded area between 40-100°F with low humidity
Professional Application Technique
- Prime applicator with 10-15 initial sprays, then 3-5 sprays for subsequent panels
- Work one panel at a time using overlapping circular motions
- Monitor for uniform "sweat beads" or slight hazing before removal (30-60 seconds)
- Use fresh microfiber towel every other panel for optimal results
Maintenance & Longevity Guidelines
Initial Curing Protocol
- First 4 Hours: Complete avoidance of water and contaminants
- First 24 Hours: No washing or chemical exposure
- First Two Weeks: pH-neutral soap only for gentle hand washing if necessary
