For paint correction, Nasiol offers two stages of the CleaRub compound series. CLEARub 305 is a medium cut compound formulated to remove moderate scratches, swirl marks, and sanding marks efficiently and without silicone, leaving a glossy, smooth finish ready for coating. CLEARub 505 steps in as the fine cut finishing compound, refining the surface after heavier correction work to remove any remaining haze or micro-defects and unlock a brilliant, high-gloss clarity

The two compounds work as a two-stage correction system and are designed to be used together on most paint correction jobs. CLEARub 305 is the medium cut stage. It removes deeper scratches, swirl marks, and sanding marks using a P1500 cut level and an orange polishing pad, leaving behind a 60 percent gloss rate. CLEARub 505 is the fine cut finishing stage. After the 305 has done the heavy lifting, the 505 refines the surface to a P2500 sanding equivalent, removes any remaining haze or micro-marring left by the 305, and pushes the gloss rate up to 70 percent. If your paint only has very light swirls or was recently corrected, you may be able to skip straight to the 505. For anything involving deeper scratches or dull, oxidized paint, always start with the 305 and finish with the 505. Both are silicone-free, safe on all colors, and can be applied by machine or by hand, though machine application gives significantly better results.
